Welcome to BioSITE! BioSITE stands for Students Investigating Their Environment.  It is an inquiry based field science curriculum, created by Children’s Discovery Museum (CDM) of San Jose. The CDM, in partnership with Pioneer High School, educates and trains Pioneer High School students to act as environmental science mentors of elementary students from local elementary schools in the San Jose Unified School District.  For a full school year, Pioneer High School BioSITE students work with small groups of fourth grade students to facilitate hands-on activities and scientific research alongside the Guadalupe Creek Site behind Pioneer. The BioSITE program motto is that every person involved in the program is part of a "community of learners" and we are excited for our 2015-2016 community!
